Great design and overall an excellent edition to the Atmosphere video ecosystem. Still a little buggy when I use it, and the community is a bit sparse since it is using its own pool of videos rather than pulling from Bluesky the way that Skylight does, but great first steps in the right direction.

Great concept and love the interface, especially the way that you swipe down to switch feeds and then can tap to the right to get more content on a particular feed. This design choice is excellent and very intuitive. My one critique is that the app tends to be pretty buggy and there have been a few times that I've tried to post videos where the app up and quit halfway through, and there's unfortunately no way to recover a draft post. Overall, incredible work and some room for improvement!

Overall, I enjoyed the idea of being able to share my favorite pop culture interests with my friends on the Atmosphere. I agree with one of the other reviews that mentioned Popfeed is spreading itself too thin covering a lot of different types of media, like with movies, TV, books, etc. I think one other thought I have is that UI is confusing at times, am I leaving a comment or a review, and do both need to exist? Why not just let people leave reviews with the option to reply to other people's reviews? I think it's a great first step to let people explore pop culture, but I think it could use some work.

I find myself checking this pretty regularly. It’s a great set up. I wish that there were ways to see total numbers of accounts on PDS‘ S as opposed to just seeing the number of new accounts in the last week

Amazing platform that has built so much for the community. I struggle at times with the way the feeds are set up (flipping through vs having a way to combine feeds) and not having group DMs or the ability to DM with images is still a hindrance. It’s still miles better than Meta and X because I have direct control over my algorithm.

Great concept overall, sometimes I struggle with the UI and feed design, and I wish that you could create feeds that don't have the "Created with surf.social" bit at the end

Great app, sometimes I struggle with the notifications - for whatever reason I find that I miss messages sometimes that are sent to me on Germ. Although I love the friendly colorful UI, and I look forward to seeing all the ways this app improves with time.

An incredible project that centers care and mutual aid, that blends an easy to use UI with community-centered and community-led moderation. One of the best things that's come out of the Atmosphere.
