@riana.bsky.social this would be so awesome as an open collection on @semble.so!! That way anyone can contribute and it’s not captured in Google land but an open platform we all have accounts for already

thx for identifying the issue! bsky.app/profile/semb...

Yeah, at least the cards not showing up on @semble.so feels like a problem to fetch data from the firehose (it was ok before) Unless there is something wrong with how the data is being made (but I didn't find anything weird while comparing with the usual data created on the Semble website)

5/19/26, 5:08 PM

Ok, might be both indeed, or at least, 2 bugs. For the card not showing on Semble, maybe a jetstream ingestion in Semble, or is the card malformed on our end? Would love to get your input there @semble.so 🙏

5/19/26, 4:06 PM

@airglow.run @semble.so I'm not sure anymore if that might be an Airglow or Semble problem... Or even both... So I have an automation that fetches the stars I give on Tangled repositories, builds the Tangled URL for that repository (permalink), creates a Semble... View full post

@semble.so find island by url

5/19/26, 4:00 AM

Maybe start here? semble.so/profile/aiue... At then go to atstore.fyi to see all the apps that already exist in the Atmosphere. and then create your rpg.actor character, cuz why not

Intriguing work by @nandi.uk applying AI to @semble.so data for synthesis - a direction we're excited to see being explored more!

5/18/26, 3:08 PM

although there's 67.89% chance I'll be swapping the official Bluesky client for @jollywhoppers.com's Witchsky webapp as part of the atmospheric apps rotation alongside @leaflet.pub and @semble.so / @margin.at

@cosmik.network @semble.so would you accept a PWA contribution? Maybe even some offline/local-first features?

5/17/26, 11:23 AM

I'll likely add a dedicated "Add to @semble.so collection" so it's a bit simpler to set up (transparently taking care of the strongRef and other things)

5/16/26, 5:35 PM

Oh this is a great idea! @burrito.space is gathering links out of User & Agents @userandagents.org Discord & putting them in Semble, this is a similar use case. Look at the @roomy.space lexicon, might be able to use that directly? They are doing Discord mirroring.

super cool! any chance of interop with other atproto link clippers like @semble.so and @margin.at ?

Not naming any names, but every time I see someone with a PhD in linguistics/semantics/etc that has multiple thousands of followers on bluesky but have <5 cards on @semble.so I'm always like... bro.. you have one job

5/15/26, 9:57 PM

we also have a bookmarklet bsky.app/profile/semb...

5/15/26, 5:22 PM

not yet, but @margin.at has a great browser extension which you can use to save links to semble/margin collections! More details here: bsky.app/profile/semb...

5/15/26, 5:21 PM

is there a browser extension for @semble.so?

5/15/26, 4:03 PM

And saving an image on Semble doesn't do much. It doesn't show. I made a test here: semble.so/url?id=https... Can you detail your use case a bit more? And maybe, show me an exemple of a Semble card you manually created (that fits the process you'd like to automate)

oh yeah. this is working. with @airglow.run I now have my likes with links auto bookmarked on @semble.so , and then @treethought.xyz 's beta Atmosphere Obsidian plugin pulls them into an easily accessible list - I no longer need to paste links into one dump file. Excellent.

5/15/26, 10:01 AM

One vision of an atmospheric web is the fun of the golden age of Tumblr minus the centralized platform. Each of these post types roughly maps to an existing atproto app (@standard.site, @semble.so, @kipclip.com, @stream.place, @grain.social) your personal site would aggregate them all.

I've collected a few links in Semble around C-22, it's an open collection so you can add your own https://semble.so/profile/bmann.ca/collections/3mlsvwyz54h2t

5/14/26, 2:57 PM

Bill C-22 is a Canadian government bill around "lawful access" to data, which is a bit of a privacy disaster that has @signal.org saying they would pull out of Canada if implemented as is. I started an open @semble.so collection if you want to add your own links

@airglow.run + page.parts (tba @awarm.space) + @standard.site + Semble connections = community knowledge gardening at scale 🤯

5/13/26, 9:04 PM

Then, using something like page parts, you could "embed" the semble page of the issue on the page directly and readers could open a side panel showing all the semble connections etc. All without needing to go to semble.so! awarm.leaflet.pub/3mj662txrs22p

@semble.so I run a very link-focused newsletter called @3-3.fyi. It would be cool if in addition to the newsletter, we could post our issue to Semble and have that issue have "leads to" connections for each of our six links. Would there be a smoother way to do this instead of manually? Like batches?

I'm starting a new reading journey into deep learning for neuroscience. My goal is to read a paper a day from this collection. One of my colleagues has shared a lot of great papers to give me some foundational understanding on these topics. I will try to blog my takeaways from the readings.
