Thanks @there-hugo.dev for taking on the process of figuring out a @lexicon.community logo. With funding from AT Community Fund, we generally like to see at least 2 people co-leading initiatives like this -- comment in the thread if you'd like to get involved.

AI settings are now available in @mackinac.social and the @atexplore.social MCP has been updated to respect these settings. This is built to on the @lexicon.community Lexicon so it will work with any app that respects those settings.

What other app builders see (screenshot below) I will write a longer blog post explaining the thinking behind the AI Preferences setting, the ecosystem approach we took via @lexicon.community, etc. But wanted to get a post out and see reactions.

Today we swapped out Sifa's custom location type for @lexicon.community's community.lexicon.location.address, the shape @smokesignal.events and others already use We use this for both account locations, and locations for career and education items (all optional of course). #interop

rather not have *my* client be the reference design. in the ideal world these are all merged into the app.bsky.richtext.facet lexicon as additional entries but that would require the pbc's permission to exist, which i'm not waiting for. maybe the real answer is fold it into @lexicon.community stuff

Are you building on atproto? Wanna join a working group for a @lexicon.community lexicon that would allow users to express their consent in AI usage? Please join the conversation below I plan to do this in the blacksky.community settings to let users opt out of AI. It'd be better to interoperate.

I've just posted a GitHub Discussion on @lexicon.community's lexicon repository, in order to redefine parts of the calendar Lexicon schemas, which theoretically will benefit everybody on the Atmosphere, like @openmeet.net, @smokesignal.events and @atmo.rsvp. github.com/orgs/lexicon...

Yeah I was actually looking into using a lexicon for that when I first started building @sifa.id, was surprised that I didn't find find one (that was supported by multiple apps already). time for @lexicon.community to step in?

Lexicons are a standards tool and coordination across apps. As of right now, you break it to either increase cooperation (a la lexicon.community) or to buck coordination/cooperation entirely (community.blacksky.feed(.)post)
