This is a ton of fun, for a highly specific type of person… if you like playing with ai models, don’t mind using things that are experimental and might break, and are not going to rely on it for ‘important’ stuff (right now) you might be that person. The promise of locally running models freely available to anyone with a bit of compute to share is lovely. Having an easy way for atproto apps to spin up some ai that will use the users tokens, because it’s all sharing the identity you already have, is also just practically very interesting. Try it out, go hook up that Mac mini.

I love bb for the oldskool foursquare vibes it’s giving me. Not 100% in my system anymore to checkin everywhere but I’m getting back into it. I love a bit of whimsy in my checkin apps. Wouldn’t mind a native iOS app but so far doing fine with the web app too

I have loved seeing the hive grow month by month and improving every time. I love where it’s going and it’s already become the only reading tracker I use. Nick is doing a great job on this and very open to ideas and suggestions. And all of making great use of atproto records so all my book data is right there on my own PDS
