Currently having the client crawl the PDS for all of the @standard.site and @skyreader.app records and caching them While this means I don't have a backend or database to manage myself...whenever the browser flushes the cache we have to crawl the PDS again Which isn't fun

The "Add Publication" will take any link and search for a @standard.site publication, if it can't find one to subscribe to, it will look for an RSS feed and create a @skyreader.app record for that RSS feed!

RSS feeds are now able to be subscribed to in The Social Wire using @skyreader.app Now your Skyreader publications are available along with your @standard.site publications and your L@tr.link saves! Originally requested by @mat.zelk.space!

yes! @disnetdev.com has a great blog post about this and is already doing it! For example using @semble.so / @skyreader.app to power the /reading section www.disnetdev.com/blog/an-atmo...

FWIW Glean is compatible with skyreader.app subscription lexicon as well, but a standardized would be great too!

i believe both @skyreader.app and @glean.at support @standard.site but have separate subscription lexicons...

@skyreader.app unroll

@skyreader.app seems to be at full capacity. Do we know when more spots will open up?

If it helps, @skyreader.app has a read it later feature! Might also be interested in a workflow there. Could also maybe become the same workflow.

(- If "lang" becomes a standard attribute in the standard.site lexicon, feed readers such as @leaflet.pub or @skyreader.app could take advantage of it to sort/filter content by language based on the user's preferences.)

Looks great! And I like the idea of pulling in things like nitter as a way to follow other feeds than just rss. Feel like this could all be done by extending @skyreader.app with extra styling options and some added features though 👀 it’s already local-first.

all my @skyreader.app shares render under /reading. All my @semble.so cards and collections render under /library. I don't maintain those pages. I share an article, drop a card, and the site catches up. One source of truth, many views. 2/2

My website is now on the Atmosphere! I've been building atproto apps for a while (@skyreader.app, Skyboard, SembleIt). Now my website is one too. Blog posts are @standard.site records on my PDS, rendered by a SvelteKit app. But also... 1/2 www.disnetdev.com/blog/an-atmo...

Just shipped support for @skyreader.app feed subscription lexicon. As an user of @skyreader.app you can log in on Glean and feel right at home. Atproto is great! bsky.app/profile/mat....

Intéressant complément à @skyreader.app 👀

I think the main ones rn are leaflet & pckt: leaflet.pub/reader pckt.blog/read fun simple aggregator - docs.surf great search tool - pub-search.waow.tech oh and cool RSS + atproto app! - skyreader.app

@standard.site @skyreader.app You know what would be super cool? A lexicon that's basically the atproto version of OPML to standard.site's RSS. Kinda like Bsky collections, but standard.site. Which would open up interesting possibilities like, what collections are my feeds connected into?

New release of @skyreader.app is now live with support for Channels that let you set up filtered views of your feeds and saved articles. Helps you catch up on quick reads or check in on sites that infrequently post. (apparently I have 104 long reads, rip my reading list)
