Most of the time integrations on @standard.site are social first, article second, but The Social Wire tries to flip that script I’m excited to see how this starts to integrate with other platforms as well like @ghost.org or @flipboard.com or even platforms like @germnetwork.com in the future

What really satisfies about the @germnetwork.com hat is that you can see that it comes directly from their account. Of course we'll keep making our own items and surprises that take advantage of the Atmosphere, but it's such a pleasure to have more items distributed from other creators!

Very important question! They are not. You can use @germnetwork.com to send encrypted DMs through bluesky, but the native DMs are not encrypted, as far as I know.

BLUESKY'S STANDARD DMs ARE NOT E2EE End-to-end encryption E2EE offers many advantages. Entities (Bluesky) outside the chat CANNOT view, incl the government!!! Instagram will take it off as of tomorrow @bsky.app has committed to adding E2EE messaging down the line @germnetwork.com #justsaying

Given the quantum readiness target was recently bumped up to 2029 (from 2035), it seems like not yet using quantum resistant encryption is an important caveat that should be clearly highlighted for transparency. "Private" messages sent today could be decrypted by 3rd parties in just a few years.

...Oh I'm seeing some red flags in this blog post. Mainly in that the advisors do not seem like the type of "indie" tech types to actually be FOR privacy. Or for not making much money. Also the trans colors are interesting given Tessa uses "germione" as a "card" in one image.
