Commentaires is a self-hostable commenting system that brings Mastodon (ActivityPub) and Bluesky (AT Protocol) discussions directly to your website.

Instead of creating yet another commenting platform, Commentaires uses existing conversations on the open social web.

Key features:

• Display Mastodon and Bluesky discussions directly beneath articles.
• Discover public posts linking to your content and retrieve their replies.
• Let visitors participate using their existing Mastodon or Bluesky accounts.
• Support static websites without requiring a traditional comments database.
• Keep both networks independent while bringing their conversations together.
• Self-host the system and maintain control over its integration.

Commentaires is designed to make website discussions more open, decentralized and accessible, without locking conversations into a proprietary platform.
