ATBuddy is a decentralized virtual-pet companion built on AT Protocol. You hatch, feed, and care for your buddy through the app or by mentioning @atbuddy.app on Bluesky for commands like stats, user lookup, achievements, and help, with buddy state stored in your own PDS account rather than in a centralized backend.
When it comes to browser-based games, I like it simple and casual. I play browser games to relax and unwind and thus it shouldn't take much of my time. ATBuddy is such a game. If you used to play Tamagotchi, GoPets, and in a way Pokémon, ATBuddy is similar. You get a pet based on your ATmosphere DID with rarity ranking. You visit your pet to pet it and feed it. You visit other pets to greet them. Doing these things will gain you EXP. It's as simple as that. Enjoyable and not distracting.
Not to mention, it's very light, so even if you're playing via a mobile browser you won't have any problems. Oh, and I almost forgot, ASCII art and ANSI colours! It's like playing a MUD/MOO/MUSH. It's nostalgic.
The game is heavily in development and new features are constantly added. I am excited about what other features the dev will implement. Instead of waiting when it goes "gold", you better start today and insert it in your daily routine.

@atbuddy.app damn, these scopes are way too broad for what this claims to be. can we get some granular scopes in here? if this is just to identity me, you dont need much more than `atproto` but if you are writing your own records under your own lex, just add those. lexicon.garden/scope-builder
